Click here to view map Click here to launch website Lomo cameras are a brand which reproduces unique camera styles, each with its own quirky feature. The most common and recognisable being the four lensed actionsampler which takes four pictures in quick succession, whilst others feature fisheye, panoramic and tinted lenses. Despite the more recent possibilty of digital reproduction of such effects the concept has quite a following world wide with two shops in Spain. Barcelona's Lomography shop in El Borne has the full range of Lomo cameras as well as accessories and artbooks of the effects in use. The shop is very cool, with hundreds of examples of the Lomo style including a massive carpet made up of four-shot photos. I really love the idea of Lomography, especially with Polaroid finally stopping production of its instant cameras. Favourites for me include square print cameras and those with nice washed-out 1960'sish prints. Cool, different and well worth checking out.
